We seek to understand our work and life together as a congregation committed to jubilee and reparations. We believe that our life as a church has made good in many ways on its commitment and belief that our calling is to work towards peace, justice and reconciliation. We further believe that our life together should be steeped in forever kindling the embers of justice so that all may be welcome, beautiful, cared for, and uplifted to live out the credo that we are born in God’s holy image, created equal and destined to be free.

LVLC works along ONE Northside, an organization on Chicago's Northside that works to 'eliminate injustice through bold and innovative community organizing.'
